TECHNOLOGY LEAD · SYSTEMS · OWNER-LED BUSINESSES

Everything comes back to you. It shouldn’t.

For owner-led companies where everything still lands on the owner:

Get clarity on what’s broken
Get a fix that matters
Get freedom so the systems carry the load

Lead the business. Don’t be the system.

A 30-minute conversation about your goals and what’s in the way. No pitch, no obligation.

Clarity. Systems. Freedom.

The owner bottleneck

Before · everything routes through you

It all comes back to you.

YouCRMInboxSheetsAccountingChatJobs
  • Every decision and question waits for you.
  • Handoffs slip between sales, operations and delivery.

After · you sit on top

The systems carry the work.

CRMJobsSheetsAccountingChatOne source of truthClarityYou
  • One source of truth the whole business works from.
  • Clear owners and automated handoffs.

Less dependence on you. More freedom to lead.

Who this is for

For owner-led companies around $2M–$30M, where too much still lands on the owner’s desk.

A good fit if

  • You own the company and make the final decisions.
  • Information lives in people's heads, spreadsheets and inboxes.
  • Leads, jobs or invoices slip through without anyone noticing.
  • You've bought software to solve a problem and it didn't.
  • You want the business to depend on you less.

Probably not a fit if

  • You want a tool installed with no look at how the work happens.
  • You can't give us access to the systems and the people who use them.
  • You want guaranteed revenue results. We commit to written deliverables and timelines, not revenue outcomes outside our control.

The problem

New software on top of an unclear process is the same problem with a monthly bill.

Success shouldn't feel like constant firefighting.

Disconnected tools

CRM, spreadsheets, accounting and job systems that don't talk to each other, so the same information gets typed in three times.

Lost opportunities

Leads come in through phone, email, web and referrals, and some quietly slip through the cracks.

No clear visibility

Getting a straight answer about cash, pipeline or capacity means asking several people and waiting.

Manual coordination

Work moves forward because someone remembers to chase it, not because the process carries it.

Unclear ownership

When something goes wrong, it isn't obvious who owned it, so it ends up on the owner's desk.

Feedback that never arrives

What customers and employees experience every day rarely reaches leadership in a usable form.

Today

Scattered tools, manual chasing, answers that live in people's heads.

With clarity

Connected information, clear owners, and a business that supports your goals.

Services

Three ways to work together.

Start with a clear map. Fix what matters first. Keep it running.

Most owners start here

Systems Audit

Know what’s broken and what to fix first.

Best when Everything runs through you, you can’t see the business in one place, or tools and spreadsheets don’t connect.

What happens

  • • Inventory every tool: what it does, who owns it, what it costs
  • • Map the 2–3 workflows that touch revenue
  • • Find where data gets re-typed, lost, or stuck
  • • Include access, logins, and backup findings inside the report
  • • 60-minute owner readout

You get

  • A plain map of tools, owners, and leaks
  • A ranked fix list with cost and effort
  • Written deliverables you keep even if you never hire us again

Timeline: 2–3 weeks

Fixed scope. Fixed price. Agreed in writing before we start.

When you know what to fix

Build (Fix #1)

Fix what matters first.

Best when The audit ranked a #1 problem, or you can already name the bottleneck: leads slip, no dashboard, invoices lag.

What happens

  • • Build whatever ranked #1 on the fix list
  • • Common builds: owner/ops dashboard; one revenue workflow end-to-end; a ‘second brain’ that connects contacts, email, and chat
  • • Documented, handed over, measured

You get

  • Working system
  • Documentation
  • Clear owner
  • Before/after measure

Timeline: 30–45 days

Scope and price agreed in writing before we start.

Tech Partnership

One person accountable for keeping it running.

Best when You don’t want another tool pile — you want one accountable partner for systems, priorities, and follow-through.

What happens

  • • Named technology lead for the business
  • • Keep the tool map current; vendor/software decisions with you
  • • Access when people join/leave; backup checks; alerts to a named person
  • • Small changes under a monthly cap; monthly review; quarterly re-rank of the fix list

You get

  • One accountable technology lead
  • Monthly scorecard
  • Response times in writing

Commitment: monthly, 3-month minimum

Monthly cap and response times agreed in writing.

How it works

Audit. Build. Partner.

  1. 2–3 weeks

    1. Audit

Map tools, workflows, and leaks. Ranked fix list. Fixed price.

  2. Fix #1 on the list

    2. Build

Dashboard, workflow, or second brain — whatever matters most.

  3. Optional ongoing support

    3. Partner

Optional Tech Partnership so it doesn’t slide back onto your desk.

You make the business decisions. We’re accountable for the agreed work.

What this often looks like

[Illustrative] Composite scenarios — not Billion Dollar Systems clients. Patterns owners describe; no outcome numbers claimed.

[Illustrative]

Field / trades company

About $3–6M, crews in the field

  • Jobs move by text and phone; quote, schedule, and invoice live in different places
  • When the owner is busy, a job or lead slips — "everything goes through me"

What we'd do: Audit maps first call → quote → schedule → invoice; Fix #1 puts every job in one place with a clear owner; Partnership adds a weekly view of jobs and cash

[Illustrative]

Services company on six tools

About $2–5M, small office team, inbound leads

  • Phones, sheets, email, automation, and e-sign don't match; every new tool adds another place to update

What we'd do: Audit finds what's used vs duplicated; Fix #1 connects lead → quote → signed contract so data is entered once; safely switch off what nobody owns

It's usually not your people. It's how the pieces fit together.

Founder

Built by an operator. Guided by what matters to you.

Ali Azimov has spent a decade partnered with companies from fast-growing startups to public companies — building the systems that move work and data from team to team, so standards stick, handoffs don't break, and the business can grow without everything running through one person. Today he brings that same discipline to owner-led companies: map what's in the way, fix what matters first, and keep the systems off the owner's desk.

I've partnered with companies from a 30-person startup to a public company. Same problems, bigger scale — and the smaller version is faster to fix.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Do I need new software?

Often, no. Most owners already pay for the tools they need. We start with how the work should move, and recommend new software only when it clearly serves your goals.

What access do you need?

Read access to the key systems involved in the workflows we review, plus short conversations with the people who do the work. We agree access in writing before we begin.

What happens after the Systems Audit?

You keep the map and roadmap. You can carry it out with your own team, with another provider, or with us through a Build (Fix #1). There’s no obligation.

Who does the building?

We lead the build and bring in vetted specialists where needed. Builds are reviewed, with a rollback plan agreed as part of the work.

Do I have to keep working with you?

No. Each engagement stands on its own. The Tech Partnership is optional: monthly, with a 3-month minimum, only if it makes sense for you.

What does it cost?

The Systems Audit is a fixed price, agreed in writing before we start, with a deposit on signing. It’s scoped so you know exactly what you get and by when. Build and partnership pricing depend on what’s #1 on your fix list — we’ll put that in writing too. We don’t guarantee revenue; we guarantee the deliverables and the timeline.

What would change if you had complete clarity about your business?

Let’s talk about what keeps landing on your desk, and what to fix first.
